In the Pink

Hi everyone, guess what? I've made a card!!!  I know, a miracle.

Anyway, enough waffle, here we go. I hope to place it into 3 challenges if I make it on time?

The first is Color Throwdown with these colours

then cas-ual fridays where we are asked to use markers

and lastly pals paper arts with this sketch

Here is my card

Recipe
Card = SU Pretty In Pink, Whisper White, and white card FMS
Stamps = SU Growing Green, Vintage Vogue and Verve sentiment
Inks = Regal Rose, Old Olive, Pretty In Pink, and Soft Suede (replaces Crumb Cake)
Tools = Big Shot, Nestabilities, and Shapeabilities
Extras = 3D pads

I used my SU Write markers to colour my stamps before printing them, and used an Aqua painter to move the green ink on the fern leaves. I sponged the pink ink on the butterfly shape and used green to tint the wings. The flower and butterfly are on 3D pads for dimension.

Hope to be back soon

Thank You card

Happy New Year !!!

You may be shocked to know that I'm still here after such a long absence, but I hope to be here more frequently this year. ( it has taken me ages to remember how to create a blog!! Durrrrrrrrrrr )

This was the first card I'd made for 6 months or so, at our Tuesday club on the 8th January, and I was going to enter it into these two challenges. Dynamic Duos and  CAS-ual Friday, however, in my long absence from blogging I'd forgotten how to attach photos  and do it properly. So here I am today at Jacqueline's house with her expert guidance getting my brain updated and my blog onto Google Chrome.

Fingers crossed I can get this blog published to start me off again with being in blogland!!

Here is the card

Recipe
Card = Melon Mambo and Whisper White
Stamps = Everything Eleanor, Stippled Blossoms and Verve
Inks = Melon Mambo and Island Indigo

I was so taken with the process that I made a second card................yes I know, I couldn't believe it either!!
This time I used Jacqueline's SU set of Stippled Blossoms and different colours

Last year was a nightmare for me health wise, so in the year 2013 things can only get better. I've started a new Arthritis treatment (which means going into hospital every 4 weeks ) and after three drips so far it seems like it might be doing some good, so fingers crossed ( if only I could!) I can do more with my hands as time goes on.

Many thanks for sticking with me, and I hope this is the start of more blogs to come
