Country scene

OMG!! What a nightmare I'm having with my Internet connections. Some days it's ok, then the next I have nothing...........hopefully by the end of the month I'll have a new provider and the nightmare will be over, and I can blog and comment on your blogs too. ( sorry you've not been getting them)

This is the first card that I've tried to post that I think will be ok, so fingers crossed it will be able to be published. It's for the Make My Monday challenge , where this months theme is NATURE and this week they want us to Create a Scene.

I'll also be entering it into Anything Goes challenge where Anything goes!!

Here is the scene I've made

I've used the sponging technique to create the hills and misty valley where my majestic stag is strutting his stuff!!!, and stamped the leafy branch and daisies in the foreground.

One of my New Year resolutions is to reduce the waffle in my posts, so I hope you can see what I've done and how I've done it!?!

Recipe :  Card = SU Very Vanilla, Choc Chip, and square card from my stash
Stamps = Upsy Daisy, SU Stag, Clarity tree, and my design branch
Inks = Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke, Adirondack Pesto and Espresso

I will try to post again soon so please call back if you can.

  9. Hello there Bev, I have just found your lovely blog!. I am a fellow Rheumatoid sufferer and like you took up crafting as my therapy and totally fell in love with it and now forms a large part of my life. I have two cats (my furbabies) who are also my therapy I guess your gorgeous Monty is yours too. Although it is not nice you or I having RA it is so good to meet fellow suffer's and there seem to be a fair few out there in the crafting community.
I want to say how lovely your blog is and how beautiful your cards are. I am now following so I can come back and visit you. Perhaps we can share stories!!!. Hope you are not suffering too much at the moment. Big hugs Clare xxx
