Teachers Pet!

Yaaaaay! I've just seen that my Fairy card was Top 3 at Make My Monday, and my Honey Bloom card was picked as a Mashup Glamette at Friday Mashup, so "Thank You" to their lovely DT's.

Today is my nephew, Nathan's last day at school before the long summer break starts, and he's off to the disco after school with this card for his teacher. I hope she likes it?

The Peacock was stamped in Archival ink and coloured with my AP and markers. It was then cut with the label die and the tail fussy cut to hang from the frame. Some coloured banners were made to lie flat on the base, with the Peacock frame raised on 3D pads. The finishing touches were the sentiment (also on 3D pads) and the gems.

I will also be entering these challenges :

The sketch comes from Retro Sketches,

the colours from ColourQ,

Make My Monday have the theme

  8. Wow! Bev, now that's some coloring therapy if I ever saw it! I bet you had so much fun coloring that beautiful peacock. It is lovely, and I love how you cut out the tail feathers- great take on retrosketches. Thanks for sharing with the Friday Mashup this week:)
