Today is the first day in a while that I've had time to myself, and I made this card
I embossed some white card with diagonal stripes and laid it on some yellow card. I stamped some grey lattice and wrapped it with yellow organza ribbon, and added it to the base cards. I made a yellow and grey label with daisies, placing it down on 3D pads and topped with a butterfly. The sentiment was tucked under the lattice, and the finishing touches were the gems added to the butterfly.
I am entering these challenges

The last few weeks have been a complete nightmare. The long awaited donkey foal, Buttercup, became an orphan when her mother died two days after giving birth from complications, and we are all trying to care for her at my sisters (Alison ) house as she needs to be bottle fed every 2 hours. With 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a donkey in the house you can imagine the chaos, especially when the kids were off school.
To top this, Ali's neighbour had a huge house fire which has badly damaged her own house, so the insurance assessors are sending builders and glaziers round for repair work quotes. Then my neighbours husband suddenly died!............they say things happen in 3's, so I hope that is the lot now. ( fingers AND toes crossed )
Here is Buttercup having a little snooze, and in the rear of Ali's car with Duff Duff her dog, on their way to the field to see the other donkeys. She isn't strong enough yet to be left with them all day as she has no mother to feed her or keep her warm and safe. We say a lot of prayers at the moment to make her strong enough to survive, but we still have a long way to go yet before she is out of danger of catching an infection and falling ill.
I will keep you informed of her progress.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope to be back soon
