Anyway, I eventually realised that my eyes are still the same old colour that they've always been.........Hazel (a greeny brown)
With that decision made, I created one of my signature cards of stamping a scene through a faux aperture. Here it is
I started by putting a label nestabilities through the Big Shot with some scrap paper, and through this aperture I stamped the tree, and sponged around the shaped hole with the same colour. The sentiment was stamped underneath in the same colour.
Recipe: Card = White card from my stash
Stamps = Lovely as a Tree, and Verve
Inks = Soft Suede and Certainly Celery
Tools = Big Shot and Labels nestabilities
Tomorrow is our club workshop so hopefully I'll have a finished project to show you.
Today, a nurse came to show me what to do with my fortnightly injections. I can't tell you how worked up I was about injecting myself, but when the time came I did it with no trouble. I don't know what all the fuss is about!!??!! Still that's it now for 2 weeks, so I can now prepare myself for then.
Thanks for stopping by, and please come back soon.

"Less is More"
Well done about the injecting Bev! I'm sure it won't be long before it will just be one of those routine things you just get on with.
ReplyDeleteI love the card - that oak tree looks fabulous in the intricate shape.
Thanks for your comment - I've always admired the photo of Monty in your profile. He's a lovely pale colour. Golden Retrievers are so smiley aren't they?! Vx
This is gorgeous. That tree is beautiful, and it looks wonderful with your sponging. This technique creates so much depth on a one-layer card. I need to try using my Nesties this way. Love it! :) Ann
