Ocean Birthday

My card is for two challenges

The sketch is from Try Stampin' on Tuesday,

and the colours from Play Date Cafe are
Burgundy,  Icy Blue and
Terra Cotta

Here's my card

I've made it for my Step Dad's birthday tomorrow, and he was (many years ago) in the Royal Navy. I hope he likes it?

I stamped the globes in blue as the backdrop for the ship, but they are a little hard to see. Then it was cut with a Nestie and laid on some burgundy card. The Captains log was stamped on the ivory base, and a ribbon border with compasses was added along the bottom with the anchor as embellishment.

Supplies :
Card = Rich Razzleberry, Naturals White, and Ivory base FMS
Stamps = The Open Sea and Verve
Inks = Black, Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party, and Rust Adirondack
Tools = Big Shot, Nestabilities, and Stamp-a-ma-jig
Extras = Ribbon and 3D pads

Fingers crossed that my Internet will allow me to post this today, and it will still be in action tomorrow?
