Floral Tags

Today, being Tuesday, was my trip to my friend Jacqueline's for a morning of crafting...............as usual we did more talking than crafting ( well at least I did!!),and as I'm writing this, I can only imagine what she is thinking when she sees that I've changed my mind on the tag design (I had decided to use some SU Tempting Turquoise as I love it, but the trouble I had matching it to the patterned paper in my stash was a nightmare, but I'm so stubborn I wasn't going to back down)

Anyway, the card is going in Make My Monday Challenge where the theme is still 'Flowers' but incorporating a tag. This is it in all its glory!!!

I'm not sure if this style is called a 'Z' or 'Waterfall' card, but the taller back panel is fixed to the center panel allowing the tag to be pulled in or out,and the front panel opens up to reveal the center where a message can be written.

The front tag is also detachable and can be used as a book mark. Each tag has faux stitching drawn around the edge (.._.. _ .._..) in a co-ordinated marker.

I wont bore you with the 'How it's made' details, but will list the ingredients at the end of the post.

After watching Federer win his match at Wimbledon,I'm now settling down to watch Isner and Mahut play, and hopefully it will be a long marathon like last years epic game (They've just gone to a tie break in the first set, so fingers crossed!)

Materials : SU Tempting Turquoise, Bashful Blue, and Pacific Point card stock, patterned paper from my stash, and pale blue ribbon.
Ink : Bermuda Bay
Stamps : SU Garden Silhouettes and Woodware sentiment.

Thanks for looking and please call again when you can.
