Folded Frame Card

My card today was made at our Craft Club workshop. I had in mind the  colour scheme from the Dynamic Duos challenge, so based my card around these.

This is it

I made my own DSP with a Blue flourish one side and a Raspberry script stamp on the other. It was scored and folded to create the four corners as the frame sides, and then it was laid on some raspberry card and then blue card. The butterflies were stamped in raspberry on White card and punched out and placed on 3D pads.

The sentiment  and a coordinated border is all on the inside.

Supplies :
Card = Raspberry Ripple, Pool Party, White card  and base FMS
Stamps = French Foliage, Baroque Motifs, Papillon Potpourri, and Verve
Inks = Raspberry Ripple and Pool Party
Tools = Stamp-a-ma-jig, Elegant and Cute Butterfly Punches
Extras = 3D pads

I have also made a new baby card for my sister who has made me an Auntie again at the weekend with the birth of little Henry George.

I embossed some blue card in the Big Shot, sponged the edges and wrapped it with a cream ribbon before laying it on a blue card base. The Ark was stamped in Black Archival on a white Nestie label, and coloured with Write Markers and an Aqua Painter.
I sponged over the edge of a scallop circle in the sky with blue to create clouds, and then layered this on a Navy, and a Crumb Cake label, before placing it down on 3D pads. I stamped the tag, layered it, and added it with a big cream bow.

For the greeting inside, I used a Curvy Verse broken up by a Verve sentiment so it reads,

" One little bundle of joy, many happy hearts!"

and I stamped the Ark again at the bottom of the insert in blue.

I hope Cass and Russell like it.

Supplies :
Card = Pacific Point, Night of Navy, Naturals White, Crumb Cake, and blue base FMS
Stamps = Two by Two, Curvy Verses and Verve
Inks = Black Archival, and Too Many to mention but all SU.
Tools  = Big Shot, Nestie Labels and scallop circle, Stamp-a-ma-jig, and Swirl EF
Extras = 3D pads and Ribbon

Hopefully, you haven't yet been bored to tears and have got this far down today's long post, for me to share with you the photos of Sophie and her rescued baby bunny.

Sophie is still breast feeding, and during a conversation her Mum was having with someone from the village explaining how they came about bringing Bunny home, the person asked Sophie if he was eating all her carrots, to which Sophie said " No he's having Mummy's boobies!!!"
My sister said she was so embarrassed by the response she just wanted to the earth to open up and swallow her.

Bless her. Out of the mouth of Babes!!!!!

Needless, to say, Mummy went straight home and got the carrots out for Sophie to give Bunny one.

As soon as the threat of cold weather is over, Bunny will be released back at the field for him to find his family or at least another bunny to live with.

Right, that's me done for tonight. I'm in hospital again tomorrow, so I may be AWOL for a few days but will hopefully be back soon.

Thanks for dropping by, and I hope I've not rambled on too much.
