I will be entering it into these challenges

The sketch is from CAS(E) this Sketch

and Stampin' Royalty have a theme of       MOM!!

Card - Whisper White and base FMS
Stamps - Flowering Flourishes, Papillon Potpourri, and Loving Thoughts
Inks - Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate, and Black
Tools - Stamp-a-ma-jig, Itty Bitty and Elegant Butterfly Punches

Yesterday, When posting my watery scene, I forgot to add these photos of my dog Monty, on the beach whilst on holiday in Angelsey, North Wales.

Here he is racing to the sea with his pals, Duff (a black Lab) and Jasper (Lurcher). The tide was out so they had a nice long run to the water.

The look on his face tells how cold the sea was!,

but he still had to go in several times before he decided enough was enough!

No time for crafting today as it's my BIL's birthday, and I'm in hospital again on Wednesday, so while my mojo seems to be returning, I hope to be back real soon.

and then Try Stampin' on Tuesday with this sketch

This is what I made

I randomly stamped the flourish onto white card, which was then mounted onto coral card and cut in half diagonally and laid on an ivory base. I stamped the flowers and sentiment onto the labels cut with a Nestie and added them to the card on 3D pads. The finishing touches were the punched butterflies with gem bodies.

Card = Naturals White, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, and Ivory base FMS
Stamps = Madison Avenue, Flowering Flourishes and Verve
Inks = Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Black, and Mint Green Pro marker

Extras = 3D pads and Gems

Today, was my first day out of bed since my treatment on Wednesday, and when I got up I drove to Mum's to fetch Monty, and to see how Mum is doing recovering from her Op. When I got there I was greeted by a very sheepish dog, so I knew he had done something he shouldn't have. As soon as I stepped inside the house, I could smell what he'd done...............rolled in some Fox muck!! The smell was horrendous, so my Step Dad Dave, helped me to give him a bath, which he hates, but he now smells of apricots and flowers....in fact, we all do after Mon had shaken himself a couple of times and covered us in soapy water. The nice smell wont last for long as Monty hates being too clean, and with all this rain we're having, there are lots of muddy puddles just begging to be rolled in.

Thanks for dropping by, and I hope to be back tomorrow to show you what I've made for my friend.

Just For You Mum

My card today is for three challenges.

First one is Clean and Simple with this sketch

secondly is The Paper Players where we could chose any line of three

and lastly, Dynamic Duos where we had a choice of colour to partner Primrose Petals.

Here's my card

For the DDuos, I chose green to go with my pink, and for PPlayers, the line of Ribbon, Mother's Day, and Pink and Green. ( My Primrose Write Marker looks almost burgandy in the camera flash, but it matches some ribbon I have perfectly ! )
I randomly stamped the flourish in pink and green over some white card, and layered it on some green card, and then a white base. A strip of the same green was embossed with dots and wrapped in a pink ribbon before being laid down.
The sentiment and flower were stamped onto white card cut with a label Nestie, and added on 3D pads. The finishing touches were the bow and butterfly on the label.

Supplies :
Card = Lucky Limeade, Naturals White, and base FMS
Stamps = Flowering Flourishes, Just Believe and Bliss
Inks = Primrose Petals, Lucky Limeade and Black
Tools = Big Shot, Nestabilities, Stamp-a-ma-jig, and Dots EF
Extras = Ribbon and 3D pads

I hope that I will have some spare time in the coming days to catch up on my blog hopping so I can see your lovely creations. Thanks for looking, and hope you can call again soon

Blue Flowering Flourishes

Yaaaay! I'm a Featured Artisan over at Paper Craft Crew so a big "Thanks" to their DT.

Today's card is for two challenges.

The first is this sketch from a new site I've found at Paper Craft Crew

and second, these colours from ColourQ

Here is my card

I started by randomly stamping the flourish in Brilliant Blue on Bashful Blue card and then embossing this with a fan EF, before sponging the edges. A border punch was used to make the yellow strip, and then a black ribbon wrapped around it. The sentiment was stamped on some Naturals card which was then cut in a Nestie and tucked under the yellow strip with a flower and some ribbon. All this was then layered on a white card base.

Supplies :
Card = Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight, Blue and White base FMS
Stamps= Flowering Flourishes and Verve
Inks = Brilliant Blue
Tools = Big Shot, Nestabilities, Shapeabilities, Martha Stewart border punch, and SU Fan EF
Extras = Ribbon and 3D pads

Thanks for looking today, and I'll be back soon

Birthday Wishes

Wow! I was picked for the Top 6 at Mojo Monday  for my Nature Walk card, So I'm really chuffed and send a big "Thank You" to their DT.

Today's card is for three challenges. The first is CAS Colours and Sketches who have this sketch,

then Color Throwdown with these colours,

and lastly, Less is More who want a CAS project with a FRAME

Here is my card

I stamped the frames onto white card in Pumpkin, and cut them out. On both I stamped some leaves, and in one I also stamped a sentiment. I then stamped the tall flowers in opposing corners of some white card and layered this onto some card on which I'd drawn a border of Crumb Cake around the edges. I wrapped some orange organza ribbon with a bow, around the centre of the card before adding the frames on 3D pads. I made the roses in Pink and Crumb Cake, cutting them out and arranging them onto both frames, with one rose on each being raised on 3D pads for dimension.

Supplies :
Card = White card and base FMS
Stamps = Baby Blossoms, Flowering Flourishes, and Verve sentiment
Inks = Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Certainly Celery, and Blushing Bride
Tools = Stamp-a-ma-jig
Extras = 3D pads and ribbon

Today is my first day up and out of bed after my hospital visit, and I'm not feeling too bright, but there is the Australian Grand Prix on this afternoon to cheer me up!

Thank you for all your comments, and I hope you can drop by again soon

True Blue

Hi Everyone, I've been on the go all day today, but I have managed to get a card made while Sophie had a little nap this afternoon, and before I had to pick Nathan up from school.

I'm going to put it in for two challenges,

The first is Retro Sketches where we could choose a sketch from their challenges over the last year, and I choose this one (#24),

The second is this colour combo from Dynamic Duos, where we could also use a neutral with the 2 blues.

Here is my card

I choose this layout as it was so completely different from what I would normally lean towards, and it would be fun to do it as a triple time stamped project.

Recipe :
Card = Island Indigo, and white cards FMS
Stamps = Flowering Flourishes and Lots of Thoughts
Inks = Island Indigo, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake
Tools = Big Shot, Nestabilities, and Stamp-a-ma-jig

Hope to be back soon

CAS Flourishes

I've just had my latest delivery from SU, so I've used my new set for this project. I am going to put it into two challenges

The first is Pals Paper Arts with
 this sketch,

and the second is CAS Colours and Sketches where they want a CAS
card with these colours.

Here is my card

I coloured the stamps with my Write Markers and stamped them onto white card using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the designs in the right place. I put the yellow card in an embossing folder in the Big Shot, and cut the circles and labels at the same time. I added a few cut out flowers to the circle and base design, and finished with some gems that I'd coloured with my markers.

Recipe :
Card = All white card, with some coloured with orange and sand inks
Stamps = Flowering Flourishes and Verve
Inks = Sahara Sand, Summer Starfruit, Dusty Durango, and Basic Black
Tools = Big Shot, Nestabilities, Fancy Fan SU EF
Extras = Gems and 3D pads

A very excited Nathan phoned me last night to tell me that he had been to his friends Birthday party, where he had seen his very good friend Adelaide. She had thanked him for his Valentine card, and told him that she had taken it to school for "Show and Tell", and everybody had been very impressed with it.

He has well and truly been bitten with the crafting bug, as I had spent hours with him on Friday making his Mothers Day card. What do you think?

Thanks for dropping by today, and I hope you can call back soon.
