High Flyer!

Hello Crafters, another weekend is over in the blink of an eye, and I've only had a short time for creating. Here is the masculine card I've made.

I must also welcome Diane, my newest follower, and hope that she likes what I do and that my cards give her some inspiration.

The plane was stamped, coloured with AP and markers, masked with a Post it, and the sky sponged over it with a scalloped circle to mask the clouds. Three tree tops were stamped below it, and finally a green wind sock greeting was added on a white pole.

I am entering these challenges

Summer Mojito's!

Here we are, half way through another week! Doesn't time fly?

Today this is the card I've made

I first stamped the sprigs of leaves and the lattice, and then added the sentiment over it. I then stamped the flowers, fussy cut them out, and arranged them over the leaves. One of the yellow flowers was laid on 3D pads, and the finishing touches were the mini gems in the centre of the flowers and 3 scattered around the lattice.

Proud as a Peacock

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you've all had a great relaxing weekend, and are ready for another week of crafting?

Today I've got a card I've made for my friend to show you

The Peacock was stamped in black and coloured with my AP and SU markers, and then fussy cut and laid on some white card on 3D pads. I then embossed some blue, green, and red cards, and layered them side by side on a white base. The Peacock panel was layered on top, and a sentiment and some gems were added. The finishing touch was the single feather on 3D pads, and topped with a Mother of Pearl button and red ribbon bow.

They have already packed their cases with toys they want to take, and keep asking " how many sleeps till we go now Mummy?"

Here are my little darlings wearing their holiday Onesies.

Walk on the Wild Side!

Today I've made this card for a man that likes to walk on the wild side!

I stamped the lion, then masked him so I could sponge the grass and stamp the long grasses around him using my markers. I then fussy cut the grass into a triangle for the foreground of the card. Next, I repeatedly stamped a tree (coloured with my markers) for the bushes and again fussy cut it into a triangular shape for the middle ground. Lastly, hiding behind the bushes I stamped a nosey giraffe, and the sentiment. The pieces were then put in their place with the lion and foreground raised on 3D pads.

Wish You Were Here!

My plans for today with my niece and nephew, were postponed until tomorrow, so I've been crafting  in front of the fan instead. This is the card I've made

The first thing I did was sponge a water and sky scene on a white base card. I then stamped the wood grain on some brown card to make a beach groin, and cut a hole towards the top. I then cut a white ring with Nesties, and pieced together the sentiment from various stamps, and coloured two areas in red so it looked like a safety ring. This was placed on 3D pads around the hole in the wood, which was then stuck over the base also on 3D pads. I randomly stamped the flourish in white on some blue card and fussy cut half of it so it looked like a wave crashing against the groin, and this was stuck along the bottom of the card. I added a Sea gull sitting on the ring, and finished with some pearls for bubbles.

Blue China

Today, I have been sat outside crafting in the shade, as the sun is not as hot as it has been. I also had a few hours spare between the tennis matches I wanted to see from Wimbledon.

I randomly stamped cups on blue card for the background and laid it on a white base, and topped with some white card down the centre. I stamped the flourish so it looked like steam coming off a hot drink, and placed a fussy cut cup on top on 3D pads. To finish, I added the two banners that were topped with the Nestie sentiment, and some pearls.
