Seaside Fun in the Sun

After overdoing it in the garden yesterday, I'm avoiding the sun  this afternoon and staying indoors, but the sun inspired me with this seaside card


I water coloured the image with my Aqua Painter, made it into a banner, and layered it on some striped embossed card which was highlighted with markers in one corner. It was finished with a sentiment sun cut Nestie.

Loads of Love!

Another quick post today with a masculine card

 CAS  male card  using NO KRAFT at all, and include a RIBBON


                                                         
After stamping the truck and its presents, I masked them with a Post It note and stamped the trees. Everything was coloured with SU Markers and an Aqua Painter. Some white card was textured, matted on some green card and laid on a base. A tag shape was cut freehand, and finished off with a stapled ribbon and some gems.

Sophie has had her plaster off her arm this week, so tomorrow we'll be catching up on playing with things that she hasn't been able to handle with one arm! Let's hope that the thunder and rain storms will have finished by then?

Wetlands Goose

Here we go into another week, I hope you've all had a good weekend.

Today my card is for two challenges

Here is my card



I couldn't wait to get my hands on these gorgeous stamps, and I think they go perfectly with the feathers set. I first stamped the wading birds, sponged the sky over a scallop circle, and painted the receding tide with my aqua painter. The image was cut with a Nestie and then the sentiment stamped under the birds. Some blue feathers were randomly stamped on blue card which was then laid on red, and the white base. Some brown feathers were placed peeping out from under the Nestie which was placed on 3D pads.

Durango Daisies

My second card today is for two challenges

First is ColourQ with these colours,


and second is this sketch from Paper Craft Crew




Here is my card

                                                       
I embossed some brown card and laid it on a white base. I coloured the daisies stamp with my Write markers and stamped them onto white card before layering it on some coral card. The three daisies from the corner were stamped and fussy cut and layered on 3D pads with the leaves. The finishing touches were the sentiment, ribbon border and butterfly.

Yellow Magnolia

I'm posting my card late today as I've been out with my sister Ali, celebrating her birthday.

I will be entering my card into three challenges

Finding an unused stamp in my stash was quite difficult, but as I have not used the Magnolia, Sentiment, and Butterfly stamps before, they are what I chose to use.

Water Maiden

I've had a nightmare weekend with no internet connection, so I've got a mad dash to publish this in time (hopefully!)
My card today is for four challenges

The first is Paper Craft Crew with this sketch, 

second is Pals Paper Arts with these colours,

third is Stampin' Royalty with ANYTHING GOES,


and lastly, Addicted to Stamps with MAKE YOUR MARK


Here is my card


The image was stamped in black Archival ink and coloured with Write Markers and an Aqua Painter. A Post It was then placed over the woman in the boat so that the sky could be sponged behind her, and water painted under her. Some reeds were stamped on the waters edge, and the reflections were softened in the water with an Aqua Painter. Some red and blue were also added in the water under the woman's toes. The scene was cut with a Nestie and laid on embossed brown and blue cards with 3D pads. The finishing touches were the ribbon, sentiment, and stamped dragonfly.

All Square!

Yaaaaay! I made it as a Featured Artisan at Paper Craft Crew, so a big "Thank You" to their DT.

My card today is for three challenges

and lastly, Addicted to Stamps who want us to use markers and pens to
                           MAKE YOUR MARK
This is my card

                                                                     
The roses are stamped in pink and coral onto white card and fussy cut out, and placed on a white square with 3D pads. Pink and Wisteria leaves are added to
each rose and a wavy Coral line drawn around each edge of the square. 

Some coral card was embossed and placed on the lower half of some wisteria card that was also embossed. A white ribbon and bow added with the sentiment stamped onto white card, The finishing touches were the pearls put in the centres of the flowers.

I'm taking my friend to the airport at 3am tomorrow, and then I'm in hospital again for my RA treatment, so I may be AWOL for a few days, but will be back as soon as I can.

A Cup of Thanks

A quick post tonight so I can make the deadline for my card entering two challenges.

I have coloured a doily with my Write Marker and topped it with a Nestie label, onto which I have placed the tea cup (on 3D pads). I have added a sentiment Tea Bag with a pull tab on bakers twine saying, "A CUP OF THANKS". This was finished off with ribbons, a bow, and a heart gem
