Bling Christmas

It's another wet and windy day here in Malvern, so this afternoon, I've stayed in and made a card for three challenges.

The sketch is from Try Stampin' on Tuesday,

the colours are from Color Throwdown,

and the theme of Christmas comes from
with added   BLING IT UP

This is my card. I'm sorry for the photo quality, but it's gone so dark that the light and camera flash are shining off the silver embossing

The script is a from a roller, where I have removed the rubber so I can stamp it flat. It's much easier with my Arthritis to do it this way than to try doing it on the roller. It was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with silver EP. The three baubles were made with Mosaic Madness stamps and punch, with the silver caps cut from embossed mosaics. The threads were hand drawn with Versamark and embossed in silver. The stamped sentiment and baubles were placed on 3D pads, and finished off with gems.

Supplies :
All are from Stampin' Up unless stated otherwise
Card = Whisper White, Calypso Coral, and white base FMS
Stamps = Jolly Jingles, Mosaic Madness, and Sassy Salutations
Inks = Versamark, Calypso Coral, Midnight Muse, and Pool Party
Tools = Fiskars Scissors, Mosaic Madness Punch, and Heat Gun
Extras = Silver EP, 3D Pads, and Gems

Thanks for dropping by, and I hope you have a great week whatever you are doing.

Morrocan Mosaics

Today my card is for two challenges

First is Mojo Monday with this sketch,

and second is Color Throwdown with this spicy colours

Here is my card

I embossed some white card and in the holes I stamped the shapes in pink and orange. I then made the central panel with a Nestie and added some Mosaic punches that had been stuck together to give some dimension, and added a small flower to the centre on 3D pads. I made a sentiment with the ends of the banner cut with the MM Punch, and the finishing touch of gems to this and the punched flower.

Stamps = Mosaic Madness and Express Yourself
Inks = Black, Melon Mambo, Dusty Durango, and Tempting Turquoise

60 Years Young!

My card today is for three challenges

Firstly, Pals Paper Arts gave us this sketch,

secondly, ColourQ have these colours,

and lastly, CAS-ual Fridays want to see
           NUMBERS

This is my card

The banners were made by repeated stamping on white card, using my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig, all topped off with the sentiment on a Nestie. The embossed green card reminds me of a Crocodile skin, what do you think?

Supplies :
Card = Lucky Limeade, Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White, and white base FMS
Stamps = Mosaic Madness, Verve, and Papermania
Inks = Black, Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, and Raspberry Ripple
Tools = Big Shot, Nestabilities, Wild Dashes Sizzix Textures, and Stamp-a-ma-jig
Extras = 3D Pads

This card is for my friends partner, Bill ( the old Croc!), who has been 55 for the last decade, it seems, so now he wont be able to pull the wool over our eyes again this year!!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend

Triple Mosaics

My card today is for two challenges

 First, is this sketch from

and second is Pals Paper Arts
with these colours

This is what I came up with

I punched out the mosaic shapes from the cherry card and stamped through the holes with the blue design. Two of the card pieces that were punched out were then mounted on to blue card, and topped with vanilla card that had been stamped with a different design. All the shapes were finished off with pearls in the centres, and the sentiment at the bottom.

Supplies :
Card = Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Pacific Point, and white base FMS
Stamps = Mosaic Madness and Tea Shoppe
Inks = Cherry Cobbler and Island Indigo
Tools = Mosaic Punch, Corner Rounder, and Stamp-a-ma-jig
Extras = 3D Pads and Pearls

I hope you're all enjoying the hot weather, as Nathan would say "it's SCORCHIO Aunt Bev!". Now I don't mean to be a killjoy, but I hate the heat as the air pressure plays havoc with my Arthritis, and I cant sleep at night, so I'm longing for some rain.....sorry! Until then I'll be in the shade under the fan, crafting when I can.

Thanks for dropping by, and I'll see you soon
