For Mum

Yaaaay! My Peacock card was Top 3 at Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge #178, so a big "Thank You" to their lovely DT.

A quick post tonight as it's very late, but here's the card I've made for my Mum's birthday on Sunday

I stamped the lattice on brown card, and laid it on red card. I stamped the flower ring, coloured it with my AP and markers, then fussy cut it out and laid it on 3D pads on some wood effect card cut with a Framelit.I fussy cut some foliage and added them under a chipboard heart covered in red card that was embossed with gold word "Mum". The finishing touches (that you cant really see in the photo) were the mini pink gems in the flower centres.

The Fisher King!

Yaaaay!, my Seagull card made Top 3 at Make My Monday, so a big "Thank You" to their lovely DT.

Today I've been rushing here, there, and everywhere, but I have managed to make this card ( and at 10.20pm I hope I'm not too late with this post for some of the challenges.)

The Kingfisher was stamped on white card and coloured with my AP and SU markers, and cut with a Nestie. I then stamped the wood texture on some neutral card, tore the edges, and laid it with 3D pads on some blue card. The sentiment was stamped and placed below the wood, and the Kingfisher label added on 3D pads with two leaves in the corner. Some more leaves were added as bunting in the opposing corner.

I am entering it into these challenges :

The sketch is from Paper Craft Crew,

The colours from Pals Paper Arts

Friday Mashup wanted the
MELON COLOURS AND/OR WOOD ELEMENT
 ( I chose wood)

Make My Monday  have the theme of  BIRDS,

and lastly, Stampin' Royalty wanted a

Yesterday, my friend, Jacqueline, came round and we played with some polymer clay and silicon moulds that I had. Here's what I made, and you never know, they may turn up as embellishments some day?

Windmills in my Mind!

Yaaaaaay! I cant believe it, I'm Top 3 again at Stampin' Royalty, so "Thank You" to their DT.

My card tonight is for three challenges

The colours and inspiration came from this photo at Stampin' Royalty,

Try Stampin' on Tuesday  gave
us this sketch,

and then lastly, Addicted to Stamps where they want to see use of  MARKERS

Here is my creation

I placed some DSP on pink scallops and laid them on a green base. I made two bunting flags and hung them over these, and stamped them with the sentiment and added flowers. I made the Nestie panel by stamping the stems with different colour Write markers, and topped them with paper windmills.

Supplies :
Card = Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Yo Yo Yellow, Gable Green, and green base FMS
Stamps = Madison Avenue and Verve
Inks = Blushing Bride, Summer Starfruit, Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade, and Black Write Markers
Tools = Big Shot, Nestabilities, Stamp-a-ma-jig, XCut Corner Rounder, and Readicut Flower Punches
Extras = 3D pads, Buttons, SU DSP, Lucky Limeade BT, and Pearls

Over the last few days I've been baby sitting my Niece and Nephew, and I've been a cat, a pony, a Super Hero, a nurse, a chef, a chauffeur, a football ref, and played the role of more people than I can remember. I don't think I've ever been so exhausted at the end of the day, but secretly I've loved it!! So it was nice to quietly sit and create something tonight.

Thanks fro dropping by and I'll be back soon, and hopping around your blogs to see what you've been up to.
