Yaaaay!, my Seagull card made Top 3 at Make My Monday, so a big "Thank You" to their lovely DT.
Today I've been rushing here, there, and everywhere, but I have managed to make this card ( and at 10.20pm I hope I'm not too late with this post for some of the challenges.)
The Kingfisher was stamped on white card and coloured with my AP and SU markers, and cut with a Nestie. I then stamped the wood texture on some neutral card, tore the edges, and laid it with 3D pads on some blue card. The sentiment was stamped and placed below the wood, and the Kingfisher label added on 3D pads with two leaves in the corner. Some more leaves were added as bunting in the opposing corner.
I am entering it into these challenges :
The sketch is from Paper Craft Crew,
The colours from Pals Paper Arts

Such a beautifully colored bird! Thanks for playing along with the Pals Paper Arts challenge!
ReplyDeleteYour bird takes center stage perfectly! Your card has wonderful details to show him off! Thanks for joining us at PPA!
ReplyDeleteThat little kingfisher is so cute! What a great job you've done on this card. Very colourful and nicely put together.
ReplyDeleteBev, I love your KingFisher! As an avid bird watcher, I do so enjoy seeing the Kingfisher swoop along the creek behind my house with his chattering sound. Your coloring technique is lovely and somewhat unusual... really gives your images a "pop"! Thanks for playing with the PPA this week!!
ReplyDeleteBev, love your torn Hardwood background- a perfect backdrop for the lovely Kingfisher. The leaves are wonderful as a design element as well. TFS with the Friday Mashup!
