Wonderful Mum

Yesterday, When posting my watery scene, I forgot to add these photos of my dog Monty, on the beach whilst on holiday in Angelsey, North Wales.

Here he is racing to the sea with his pals, Duff (a black Lab) and Jasper (Lurcher). The tide was out so they had a nice long run to the water.

The look on his face tells how cold the sea was!, 

                                                                                       

         

but he still had to go in several times before he decided enough was enough!

No time for crafting today as it's my BIL's birthday, and I'm in hospital again on Wednesday, so while my mojo seems to be returning, I hope to be back real soon. 

Still Waters

The way this year is galloping away from me, I thought I'd make a head start on my Fathers Day cards.

This card reminds me of the time when my health was better, and I could walk on the beach with the dog.

Arctic Friends

My mojo is still AWOL, but after suffering with a chest and inner ear infection, I've tried to get back into the crafting saddle with this card for my brother in law's birthday next week

I stamped the bear and penguins (my 3 animals) with black Archival, and coloured them with markers (in 3 colours). I sponged blue over some torn paper for the snow under the bear and cut him out with a Nestie and laid that on two more (3 circles in all). It was finished off with a sentiment.

Lion in the Grass!

My card today has a masculine feel to it

The Lion was stamped and masked with a Post it so that extra grasses could be stamped to the rear and sides of him. I then used my Aqua Painter to colour the background and lions body.The sassy sentiment adds a bit of fun ( I hope!)

Trio Of Roses

Today, as I'm still struggling to find my mojo, I went to my friends for coffee and crafting, and here is what I made

My roses were stamped in pink and then with green to add the detail, fussy cut, and placed with leaves on 3D pads for dimension. I hope the round shape of the roses fits the LIM theme?.
