My second card today is for four challenges
First is Clean and Simple with this sketch,
second is Play Date Cafe with
Burnt Umber, Honey, and Butter
After embossing some white card with dots, I swiped half of it with a Butterscotch ink Pad, and the other half was reversed and sponged lightly with the same colour. I then made the panel by stamping and fussy cutting the flowers and leaves and mounting them on a Nestie that had been laid on some white card coloured with a distrees ink pad. The bees were stamped onto tracing paper, cut out and placed in their final positions. It may be the heat affecting my eyes, but I think the spotty background looks almost like honeycombs ( well, if you have a vivid imagination they do..........don't they? ) For the finishing touch, the busy bees have left a bead of honey on the sentiment banner!!
